ISIMP 2004 The ISIMP2004 was held between 20 and 22 October 2004 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Four half-day tutorials were conducted on the first day of the Symposium. We had 30 technical sessions, a total of 4 keynote presentations, and a forum on the second last and last day of the Symposium. Our banquet was held at the New World Renaissance Hotel on the second day and was accompanied by a music performance, so participants could enjoy food and music at the same time. Altogether, we had more than 180 participants in the ISIMP2004. The Organizing Committee hoped that every participant also enjoyed the Symposium and had a wonderful stay in Hong Kong. We would also like to invite every one of you to attend the conferences in Hong Kong in the future. During the conference, we took more than 300 photos.
