| The
Centre for Signal Processing was set up in the
department of Electronic and Information
Engineering of the Hong
Kong Polytechnic University in 1998, with the
initial name of Centre for Multimedia Signal Processing.
The centre is led by Professor
Wan-Chi Siu. The objectives of the centre are,
first, to conduct edge-cutting research in the areas of
Digital Signal Processing for Multimedia applications;
and second, to make use of our research results for the
promotion of industrial innovation and for the development
of new products, especially products that are suitable
for production by the local industry. |
