Minor Changes to the Programme Curriculum of 2002/03, 2003/04 and 2004/05
Subsequent to the endorsement by the Programme Committee and approval by the Faculty of Engineering, the following minor changes are made to the BScIMT curriculum of the 2002/03, 2003/04 and 2004/05 starting 2006/07:
Addition of the elective subjects EIE425 and EIE429 to the programme curriculum
For the benefits of students in widening the choice of electives, the new elective subjects "EIE425 Video, Image and Audio Processing" and "EIE429 Corporate Networking" which have been introduced in the curriculum starting 2005/2006 are added to the programme curriculum of 2002/03, 2003/04 and 2004/05 with effect from 2006/07.
Students should note that the subject "EIE312 Linear Systems" or "EIE327 Signal Processing Fundamentals" is a pre-requisite of the subject EIE425, while the subject "EIE421 Speech and Image Processing" is an exclusion of the subject EIE425 and vice versa. Also, "EIE439 Corporate Communication Networks" is an exclusion of the subject EIE429, and vice versa.
