Department of Electronic and Information Engineering Students’ Robotics & Interactive Game Projects Objectives
The event aims at providing an opportunity for our students to strengthen their capabilities and develop their potentials. Secondary students may take this occasion to experience study life in our University.
About the Competition
There are actually two contests, one in robot design and the other in interactive game design. For the robot design contest, fully autonomous robots will compete against each other to perform a specific task. The robots have to be intelligent and equipped with sensors, computer controlled servos, manipulators, etc. to perform tracking, searching, lifting and precision locating of lifted loads. Tasks vary from year to year. The robot which can attain the highest score within the specified time will win the competition. For the interactive game contest, students compete for the best ideas and implementations of interactive game softwares and hardwares.
Activities for Spectators

Secondary school and university students are most welcome to be spectators of the event. Spectators may have fun in voting for the winners, participating in a lucky draw, and enjoying refreshment while interacting with the fellow students on the event day.

For the first time, South China University of Technology participated in the contest. Spectators included delegations from three other mainland universities, Hunan University, Yunnan University and Xiamen University.
